# Pool

Liquidity pools are made up of token assets used for swaps. In **FinChain DEX - Liquidity Pool**, you can view the pool assets and trading activity for different token pairs, and choose a liquidity pool to provide assets. The assets you provide in a specific liquidity pool, along with their price range, make up your **position**. The overall assets of a liquidity pool are different from your individual position.

### **1. View My Positions**

**My Positions** shows your existing liquidity positions, including token pairs, price ranges, and reference value. On the corresponding position card, you can click **Withdraw** or **Add More** to proceed.

### **2. Browse All Liquidity Pools**

In **All Liquidity Pools**, click a liquidity pool card or the arrow on the right to view details.

| Parameter             | Description                                                                                                    |
| --------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Token Pair | The two tokens in the liquidity pool. |
| Price | The current reference swap ratio between the two tokens. |
| Total Value Locked | The total reference value of assets in the pool; this does not represent your individual holdings or earnings. |
| Token Amounts in Pool | The amount of each token in the pool. |

{% hint style="info" %}
The above data may update with trades, asset prices, and liquidity changes. Amounts of different tokens cannot be directly added together as the same asset, and USD reference value does not represent the final withdrawable amount.
{% endhint %}

### **3. New Position & Select Liquidity Pool**

The overview page provides a **New Position** entry. In the **Select Liquidity Pool** panel, you can search for tokens or liquidity pools and use the network filter to narrow down the results. The panel has **Recent** and **All** sections, listing token pairs, networks, and total value locked. Before selecting, please verify the token pair and network. If the liquidity pool you want to use is not available, you can click **Request to Add** and submit your request according to the on-screen instructions. Submitting a request does not mean the liquidity pool has been created or is immediately available.

### **4. View Liquidity Pool Details**

The details page shows the token pair, blockchain network, address summary, price, total value locked, and the amounts of both tokens. Before proceeding, please confirm that you are on the token pair and network you intend to use. You can switch between **Add Liquidity** and **Withdraw Liquidity** to perform the corresponding actions.

### **5. Add Liquidity**

On the liquidity pool details page, select **Add Liquidity**, set the price strategy and price range, then enter the amount of tokens you plan to deposit.

#### **5.1 Select Liquidity Pool**

Open the desired token pair from **All Liquidity Pools** or the pool selection panel, verify the network, price, and pool assets, then switch to **Add Liquidity**. If you want to add assets to an existing position, you can also click **Add More** on the corresponding card in **My Positions**.

#### **5.2 Select Price Strategy**

The price strategy is used to help set the price range for your position. The page provides the following options:

| Strategy        | Purpose                                                                                                |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Stable | Suitable for stablecoin or low-volatility token pairs, offering more concentrated price range options. |
| Wide | Suitable for high-volatility token pairs, offering wider price range options. |
| One-sided Lower | For liquidity allocation in the downward price direction. |
| One-sided Upper | For liquidity allocation in the upward price direction. |

#### **5.3 Confirm Price Range**

After selecting a strategy, review the **Minimum Price** and **Maximum Price**. You can adjust the values using the plus/minus controls or input fields provided on the page. Before submitting, please confirm:

* The pricing direction, for example, how many units of Token B correspond to one unit of Token A;
* The minimum price is lower than the maximum price;
* The final range and its position relative to the current price meet your expectations.

The price range determines the price range within which the position participates in providing liquidity. For positions using a concentrated liquidity mechanism, when the market price moves outside the range, the position may temporarily not participate in swaps at the current price, and the asset composition may also shift toward one of the tokens. Narrower or wider ranges have different effects; please choose based on token volatility and how closely you can monitor the position. Setting a price range is not the same as setting a stop-loss order.

#### **5.4 Enter Deposit Token Amounts**

In the **Deposit Tokens** section, verify the two tokens and their network, and enter the amount you wish to deposit. Each token section will show the available balance, and you can click **Max** to fill in the corresponding available amount. The ratio of the two tokens required may be affected by the current price, price range, and pool rules. Please verify the amount calculated or required by the page; do not simply assume equal amounts or equal USD value. When using a one-sided strategy, also rely on the tokens actually required by the page. Selecting a **One-sided** option does not mean you can arbitrarily omit one of the tokens.

#### **5.5 Submit and View Results**

After verifying the token pair, network, strategy, final price range, and deposit amounts, click **Start** and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm. If your wallet requires approval or signature, verify the token, amount, spender, and network fee before confirming. After submission, you still need to confirm the final execution result; completing approval alone does not mean the assets have been successfully deposited into the liquidity pool. Once done, verify the actual deposited amounts and position information. If the result has not updated, check your wallet and on-chain transaction status first before deciding whether to try again.

### **6. Withdraw Liquidity**

On the liquidity pool details page, you can switch to **Withdraw Liquidity** to request withdrawal of the liquidity corresponding to the current operation on a proportional basis.

#### **6.1 Confirm Withdrawal Target**

You can click **Withdraw** on the corresponding card in **My Positions**, or open the token pair details and switch to **Withdraw Liquidity**. Confirm the wallet and blockchain network in use, and verify that the page corresponds to the position you wish to withdraw. If there are multiple positions in the same liquidity pool, in the **Select Position to Withdraw** section, verify each position's token pair, price range, and reference value, then select the position to withdraw. This section also shows the total number of positions. After selecting, you can expand the list and click other positions to switch. The selected position will be pinned to the top, and the rest are sorted by value from high to low. After switching, re-verify the current position and the asset information for this withdrawal. If the page shows **No liquidity pool positions**, first confirm whether the current wallet and network are correct. You can also click **Add** and follow the on-screen prompts to add liquidity; once you have a withdrawable position, you can proceed with the withdrawal.

#### **6.2 Select Withdrawal Ratio**

You can drag the slider or click **25%**, **50%**, **75%**, or **Max** to set the withdrawal ratio. This ratio applies only to the currently selected position. For example, selecting **50%** means requesting to withdraw one-half of the liquidity of the currently selected position; it does not mean withdrawing half of all your positions in the pool or half of the entire liquidity pool, nor does it guarantee returning the same amount of assets originally deposited.

#### **6.3 Review Trade Settings and Asset Information**

| Parameter            | Description                                                                                                                                                                               |
| -------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Transaction Deadline | The validity period for this withdrawal transaction. It does not represent the estimated arrival time. |
| Slippage Tolerance | The adverse execution deviation allowed for this withdrawal. Please pay attention to the current setting and any risk warnings. |
| Est. Network Fee | The estimated on-chain fee and fee asset required for this withdrawal. The actual amount is subject to your wallet and on-chain execution results. |
| Position | The related tokens and amounts listed on the page. Please combine the withdrawal ratio with the subsequent confirmation information to verify the assets actually withdrawable this time. |

{% hint style="warning" %}
As pool trades and prices change, the token composition at withdrawal may differ from that at deposit. Please verify based on the current operation page and the final transaction result. Do not treat the original deposit amount as a guaranteed withdrawable amount.
{% endhint %}

#### **6.4 Submit Withdrawal**

After confirming the withdrawal ratio, deadline, slippage tolerance, estimated network fee, and asset information, click **Start**. Review the requests on the page and in your connected wallet, verify the assets involved, spender, permission scope, and network fee, then complete the required approval, signature, or transaction confirmation as prompted. Completing approval alone does not mean the withdrawal transaction has been submitted. After returning to the page, if it shows the transaction has been broadcast, you can click **View Details** to track progress. Broadcast does not mean the withdrawal is complete; please refer to the final execution result. After submission, wait for the transaction to be processed, and verify the final withdrawn amount, remaining position, and balance of the received assets. If you selected **Max**, you should still confirm whether this withdrawal is complete based on the final execution result.

### **7. Estimated Network Fee and Trade Settings**

#### **7.1 Estimated Network Fee**

The **Estimated Network Fee** on the Swap and Withdraw Liquidity pages is the estimated network cost required to complete this on-chain operation. Please verify the fee asset and keep a sufficient balance in your wallet. The actual amount is subject to your wallet and on-chain execution results. The estimated network fee may change with network conditions and operation details; please recheck before submitting. Separate on-chain operations such as token approval and swap may incur separate network fees. Please refer to the operation page, wallet confirmation page, and final execution result.

#### **7.2 Deadline**

The **Swap Deadline** for Swap and the **Transaction Deadline** for Withdraw Liquidity are both used to set the validity period of this transaction request. They do not indicate how long you need to hold the assets, nor do they guarantee the transaction will be completed within that time. If the page or your wallet indicates the request has expired, please recheck the transaction status and the latest quote, then initiate again as prompted. Extending the deadline will not speed up on-chain confirmation.

#### **7.3 Slippage Tolerance**

Slippage tolerance is used to limit the acceptable adverse deviation between the quote and actual execution. Market volatility, transaction amount, and available liquidity can all affect the execution result. Please set it carefully based on the page prompts. Do not keep increasing the limit just to make the transaction go through; you can first refresh the quote, verify the amount, or try again later.
